Collection: Rousie Pendant

When we first imagined the Rousie Pendant, we set out to create a feature light that used local, natural, and renewable materials to evoke a strong sense of place. We couldn’t look past wool—an iconic fibre of Central Otago. Fortunately, a small wool carding operation just down the road made it possible for the wool to travel from the sheep’s back to our studio with minimal impact on the planet.
The name ‘Rousie’ honours the unsung heroes of the shearing gang, whose quiet dedication embodies the spirit of rural New Zealand.
The Rousie Pendant feels plush, warm, and natural. Carded wool echoes the tones and textures of the Central Otago landscape, expressing a distinctive sense of place.
